CFC Taunton Attleboro WIC is currently serving 3300 persons through offices in Taunton, Attleboro, Norton, Rehoboth, and Mansfield. Even though WIC has grown by 200 people over the past three months, there are still plenty of openings. Most people can be seen within a week of calling for an appointment, although walk-ins are welcome. Prescreening over the phone saves time, and if the applicant has all the necessary paperwork, he or she can leave the appointment with food checks to use the same day! Tuesday evening and Saturday appointments are available for working persons.
Although the participants are children under five and pregnant or postpartum women, any legal guardian raising a child under five can apply for that child. This includes grandparents, fathers, and foster parents. All foster children under five are eligible regardless of the foster family’s income.
