Beth, Program Director

Beth joined the Citizens for Citizens WIC Program this year. She has 13 years of previous experience with the WIC program and is excited to serve the Taunton/Attleboro community. She has two young children and knows how challenging it can be to deal with picky eaters. Beth has a passion for food, health, and helping others. Beth believes everyone should have access to healthy foods and it should be fun, affordable, and delicious! She wants every participant that comes in to the office to feel welcome and comfortable with us. In her spare time she enjoys cooking and spending time with her family.
Brittani, Nutritionist

Brittani is the newest member of the CFC WIC team. She recently graduated from Framingham State University with a bachelor’s degree in Health and Wellness and brings with her an enthusiasm that only a young nutritionist can have! She enjoys promoting physical activity and can be found teaching gymnastics to kids when she’s away from the office. In her spare time Brittani enjoys being outdoors and spending time with friends and family!
Celeste, Senior Nutritionist / Breastfeeding Coordinator

Celeste has been with the Taunton/Attleboro WIC Program for the last 5 years as a nutritionist. She has been our senior nutritionist for the past two years. Prior to joining us Celeste worked in RI WIC for 10 years. Celeste oversees our nutrition staff, runs our intern program, and she still gets to meet with participants! Celeste is passionate about community health and sharing her love of nutrition with our families. In her free time she enjoys visiting her local farmers market and experimenting with new recipes with the fruit and vegetables she finds!
Kara, Community Coordinator

Kara has been with the Taunton/Attleboro WIC Program for the past 10 years. She has been the Family Support Coordinator, Peer counselor, and now Community Coordinator! Kara loves the Taunton/Attleboro community and truly enjoys educating people on what the WIC Program offers and the benefits that are available. She especially enjoys reaching out to our foster parent community – what these parents do is truly amazing. She is also passionate about promoting our breastfeeding peer counselor program. She has 3 children of her own that keep her very busy! When she’s not in the office you will likely see her at the baseball field cheering her kids on!
Priscilla, Nutritionist

Priscilla is a nutritionist and the Breastfeeding coordinator for the Taunton Attleboro WIC Program. She has been working for the WIC Program for the past 19 years. Priscilla has always loved food. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, traveling, watching Patriots games, and NASCAR races! She enjoys her job because everyday is different. She enjoys helping people and seeing all the cute babies and children.
Christianna, Nutrition Assistant

Christianna has been a Nutrition Assistant and Program Assistant with the CFC WIC team since 2017. She speaks English, Spanish, Cape Verdean Creole/Kriolu, Portuguese, and is passionate about helping multi-cultural families make the most of their WIC benefits. In her spare time she enjoys singing and dancing with her daughter, spending time with her husband, and reading.
Madalina, Program Assistant

Madalina has been with the WIC program for the last 11 years as a program assistant. Madalina helps you get checked in with your paperwork as smoothly as possible. She will also issue your benefits and make sure you’re comfortable using them before leaving our office. Madalina’s first language is English, but she also speaks fluent Portuguese. She has 2 adult children, one still in school and the other an auto tech who is still a picky eater! In her spare time you can find her scrapbooking (her newest passion!) She also enjoys sewing as well as crocheting baby hats and blankets. This summer Madalina is looking forward to going to the beach and taking some walks.
Holly, Family Support Coordinator / Breastfeeding Peer Counselor

Holly has been with the Taunton/Attleboro WIC team since 2013. She has a dual role as a Breastfeeding Peer Counselor and the Family Support Coordinator. When she is not helping families navigate through the sometimes bumpy road of parenthood, she can be found spending time with her husband and 3 boys. She sometimes refers to herself as a professional chaos coordinator. Holly is passionate about empowering parents to do the best they can for their families.
Ruth, Program Assistant

Ruth has been with the WIC program for over 12 years as a Program Assistant. Ruth is typically the first face you see when you walk into our Taunton location (she’s also been voted most likely to grab the phone first!) Ruth will welcome you into our office, review how WIC benefits and the WIC card work, and get your paperwork set up for the program. She will also issue your benefits to your WIC card. Ruth has 2 adult sons so she is also great at giving moms helpful tips. In her spare time she loves to sew, knit, and spend time with her family.
Ibonne, Program Assistant

Ibonne has been part of WIC as a Program Assistant since April 2011. She came along with eagerness and excitement for the opportunity to learn, grow, and serve others working at a program like WIC. She enjoys what she does and tries to always have a special connection with our WIC participants. She always greets participants with a smile and goes the extra mile to serve them.
Catherine, Breastfeeding Peer Counselor

Catherine, has been a Breastfeeding Peer Counselor at the Taunton/Attleboro WIC office for the past 10 years. She genuinely loves talking to and supporting pregnant and breastfeeding moms, helping them feel comfortable and confident in their personal journey of infant feeding. She was a WIC mom herself, and now has a teenage boy who has grown to be healthy, strong, and active. Catherine feels strongly about helping others, doing weekly volunteer work in addition to her job educating moms on the WIC program. In her free time she enjoys music, movies, cooking and baking, and spending time with family and close friends.
