Grandparents and young children

Foster Grandparent Program

With age comes valuable life experience. Become a mentor and lend a guiding hand to in-need school children.

By joining our Foster Grandparent Program, community members 55 and older can become mentors to local children and also gain a fun way to supplement their income through a tax-free stipend. Foster Grandparents serve children in the Greater Fall River and Taunton areas in schools, day care centers, and other local child facilities. The FGP program allows older adults to stay active and give them a purpose, all the while making a difference in the life of a child.
